An example of what BRS can do for you is what BRS has recently completed.... a Feasibility Study for a new forest products facility that can supply a Community with a strategic solution to recently gov't imposed job losses, using under-utilized Boreal Forest raw materials.The opportunity can turn a difficult situation into a positive outcome for a forest industry dependant community, and we get results as was announced June 25,2007 whereby the province did allocate the wood required to Superior Laminated Lumber, to feed a new Laminated Veneer Lumber facility in Atikokan.

Another opportunity that BRS has recently developed is a working relationship with the Naicatchewenin First Nation's Kish Gon Dug  (KGD) Canada cedar lawn and garden fine furniture. BRS has started manufacturing components needed by KGD to service their growing customer base. This is an excellent example of 2 northwestern Ontario communities working together to benefit the north.

Mike has also recently been appointed as Executive Director of the Ontario Forest Business Association (OFBA), www.ofba.org  and will represent the grass-root needs of the forest industry in Ontario.  Recently Mike has also been elected as a Councillor for the the Town of Atikokan.

Mike has just established another business, Synergy Wood Products, www.synergywoodproducts.com, maximizing the opportunities in the value-added sector of the forest procducts industry. " It is what will keep our forest industry competing globally".
